A few months after the Milano Cortina 2026 Olympic Games, we would like to share how ITS became a key player in the Construction Supervision and Safety Coordination of one of the Games’ landmark infrastructures.
The Cortina Sliding Centre is one of the most challenging projects delivered in recent years: a track completed in a timeframe that, for projects of this type, has historically been at least twice as long.
Achieving this record-breaking result was made possible by the constant presence of our Construction Supervision team, ensuring continuous on-site supervision and daily collaboration with more than 200 workers.
This collaborative approach enabled us not only to identify operational challenges on site, but also to develop and share innovative, effective solutions, combining extensive construction expertise with detailed engineering tailored to the realities of project execution.
The flexibility and responsiveness of this approach to Construction Supervision proved to be the key ingredient in managing countless variations during construction and resolving the daily challenges of an Olympic project of this scale in real time.
We are proud to have delivered both the Construction Supervision and Safety Coordination services for a project that now stands as a new benchmark for ice sports.
